It’s been hard for TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan by Platinum Games to stay hidden in the shadows. It started as hushed rumors, but eventually lead to leaked screenshots and an achievement list. However, the cat is finally out of the bag (… er, Turtle is out of the bag?). Platinum Games has officially announced TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan, and it will release in Summer 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC (sorry Wii U fans).
While little is known about the title, Platinum games and Activision have released the first trailer for the game. The story is written by IDW Comics author Tom Waltz and will feature Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael as they battle the evil Shredder and his gang of foot solders. The game will also feature 4-player online co-op.
