The event co-founder of the Evolution Championship Series, Joey Cuellar, has announced the nine games that will be included for the 2016 tournament. Returning favorites include Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Smash Bros. Melee, while new entries such as Street Fighter V, Pokken Tournament, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, and Tekken 7: Fated Retribution will be hitting the game floor.

- Street Fighter 5
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator
- Mortal Kombat X
- Pokkén Tournament
- Killer Instinct
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Tekken 7: Fated Retribution
The tournament will run July 15-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
